Quilt Show Reno 2023

Hi Friends! My lovely momma and I just got home from the Reno Quilt Show! Thank you to all who stopped by our booth! Quilt Show Reno was celebrating their 20th year so there were balloons on the stage where I did FPP demos. The quilt exhibit was unique in that it was primarily smaller art quilts and some statement quilts. I'm including some pictures of the tags so you can read about the quilts.

My oldest just finished her first year at University of Nevada Reno but is home in Las Vegas for the summer. It was so strange to go to Reno without her! She did tell us where to eat so we stopped at her favorite places - Peg's for breakfast and Rick's for pizza. I would also recommend both! My mom had never seen campus so one night we took a long walk. Campus is so beautiful in the summer and they have so many roses!

Here's a little video of our booth!

Happy Quilting!

Hi! I'm Jen, a quilt pattern designer and teacher. I founded Snapdragon Quilting in the spring of 2022 in memory of my beloved Grandma Louise, a skilled seamstress and crafter who grew beautiful snapdragons in her garden. I've been sewing for as long as I can remember and began passionately crafting quilts of my own creation in 2006. My quilt patterns bring bold and vibrant designs that blend traditional piecing methods with contemporary techniques. I love to play with color and contrast so you'll find lots of layout and color options in my patterns. Whether you're new to quilting or making your 100th quilt, you're in the right place, because here at Snapdragon Quilting, quilt patterns make sense.
