October is here, and there’s a lot happening around Snapdragon Quilting!



We had a very special visitor stop by the shop recently—Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Co., along with her husband Ron! I was actually away teaching and vending at the Desert Quilters of Nevada retreat in Mesquite, so I missed them. My mom was here to welcome them and said they were so wonderful to have in the shop—so kind and lovely! It was such a treat to have them visit and I was thrilled to hear that they enjoy

My brother and sister-in-law are parents! Their little one arrived a week early (momma and baby are doing great) and suddenly, I was in a rush to finish his quilt. I loaded it onto my longarm, quilted it, and even put the binding on—only to realize that I had never sewn the border on! 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully, they loved the quilt without the border and good news, the pattern still includes the instructions for the border if you want to put it on. With the shop now open for two months, we've been welcoming so many new faces to Snapdragon Quilting that I thought I'd share a little of the story behind how it all began.
